# Your account and computers

> Create a DemoVexa account, sign the app in on your computer, and manage the computers your plan allows.

Your DemoVexa account holds your plan and lets you use the app on your computers. You manage it at [app.demovexa.com](https://app.demovexa.com). This page covers signing up, signing the app in, managing computers, and what happens offline or when a plan ends.

Your account is separate from the Claude and ElevenLabs accounts the app uses to write and voice your videos. Those connect in the app's [Settings](/docs/settings/settings).

## Create an account

Go to [app.demovexa.com](https://app.demovexa.com) and sign up in one of three ways:

- **Email and password.** You'll get an email to confirm your address.
- **Google.**
- **A sign-in link** sent to your email.

Every new account starts with a free 14-day trial. It begins when your email is confirmed, and you don't need a card. See [Plans and usage](/docs/account/plans-and-usage) for what the trial includes.

## Sign the app in

The app on your computer needs to be signed in to your account before you can make videos. Until it is, a bar at the top of every page says **Sign in to your DemoVexa account to make videos**.

1. Click **Sign in to DemoVexa**. It's in the **Account** step of the first-run setup, in **Settings → Account**, and behind the **Sign in** button on that bar.
2. DemoVexa shows a code like `ABCD-EFGH` and opens [app.demovexa.com/activate](https://app.demovexa.com/activate) in your browser.
3. Sign in to your account there if you aren't already (or start a free trial).
4. Check that the code and the computer name match, then click **Yes, sign in**.

The app notices within a few seconds and shows your plan. **Settings → Account** then shows your plan, this month's videos and renders, and when your allowance resets.

> [!IMPORTANT]
> Only approve a code that you can see in your own DemoVexa app right now. If you didn't start the sign-in, don't click **Yes, sign in**.

## Computers

Each plan allows a set number of computers:

| Plan | Computers |
|---|---|
| Trial | 1 |
| Solo | 2 |
| Team | 6 |
| Agency | 20 |

### See and sign out computers

1. Sign in at [app.demovexa.com](https://app.demovexa.com).
2. Open **Computers**. It lists every computer signed in to your account.
3. Click **Sign out** next to a computer you no longer use.

That frees its place for another computer. To sign out the computer you're on, use **Settings → Account → Sign out of this computer** in the app.

### When all your computers are in use

If you try to sign in a new computer and your plan's computers are all in use, the approval page tells you. Sign out one of your other computers on the **Computers** page, or upgrade to a plan with more computers (see [Billing](/docs/account/billing)).

## Working offline

The app checks your plan when it starts and twice a day (or right away with **Settings → Account → Check plan now**). If it can't reach DemoVexa, it keeps working offline for up to 14 days, counting the videos and renders you make against your allowance and reporting them when it's back online. Connect to the internet within that time so it can check in again.

Building and voicing videos still needs Claude and ElevenLabs, which are online services.

## When a trial or plan ends

If your trial or plan ends, the app becomes read-only:

- Your existing projects, videos and renders stay available, and you can still play and download them.
- New videos, voiceovers, builds and renders are blocked until you choose a plan. The bar at the top of the app links to your billing page.

Choose a plan from your account to carry on. See [Billing](/docs/account/billing).
