# Ideas

> Get video ideas from Claude based on your modules, how-to guides and recent code changes, and collect them on a creation list.

The Ideas page suggests videos to make about your product. Claude finds them in your how-to guides, your modules and what you've shipped recently, and you keep the good ones on a creation list to make later, one at a time or in a batch.

Open it from **Ideas** in the sidebar, or press <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>2</kbd> (on Windows/Linux <kbd>Ctrl</kbd> <kbd>2</kbd>).

## Where ideas come from

Claude looks at:

- your how-to guides,
- your workspace's modules,
- the last 45 days of your app's git history.

It skips videos you've already made, so you don't get the same idea twice.

## Get ideas

The page lists your modules: **All modules**, your module groups, **Whole product** and **Other**. Use **Find a module** to search the list.

1. Pick a module, or **All modules**.
2. Click **Suggest ideas for …** (the button names the module), or **Suggest ideas across modules**.

### Ideas on a topic

To get ideas about something specific:

1. Type a topic in the search box (**Search ideas, or type a topic and press Enter for new ones**).
2. Press <kbd>Enter</kbd>.

The same box also searches the ideas you already have.

### Add your own idea

1. Click **Add idea**.
2. Describe your idea in the **Add your own idea** form.

## Browse ideas

Ideas are in three tabs:

| Tab | What's in it |
|---|---|
| **New** | Ideas you haven't acted on yet |
| **Creation list** | Ideas you've saved to make |
| **Used** | Ideas that have become projects |

Narrow the list with the filters:

| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Type | The video type |
| Source | **Anyone**, **From Claude**, **Your ideas** |
| Sort | The order of the list |

## Act on an idea

Each idea card has three actions:

| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| **Create project** | Starts a project from the idea straight away |
| **Add to creation list** | Saves it to make later |
| **✕** (Not interested) | Removes it from your suggestions |

## The creation list

The creation list is your queue of videos to make. It appears on the **Creation list** tab here and in the right-hand column of the Projects page.

From the Projects page you can tick ideas on the list and click **Build N** to make them all in one batch. See [Batch builds](/docs/more/batch-builds).

If you delete a project that came from an idea, the idea goes back on the creation list.

> Fill the creation list during the week, then build it as a batch overnight with **Tonight, 1:00 AM**.
