# Workspaces

> Create a workspace for each product, switch between them, let Claude analyze the app, and delete workspaces you no longer need.

A workspace holds everything DemoVexa knows about one product: its code folder, docs, modules, brand and design. You make one workspace per product, and every video you make for that product lives in it.

## What belongs to a workspace

| Per workspace | Shared by all workspaces |
|---|---|
| Projects, ideas, batches and usage | Claude settings (how Claude runs, the model) |
| Code folder, docs folder and modules | ElevenLabs settings (key, default voice) |
| Brand, design and the default call to action | |
| Default video language and saved voices per language | |

A workspace can also use its own Anthropic or ElevenLabs key instead of the studio's. See [Connections and checks](/docs/workspaces/connections-and-checks).

## Switch workspaces

The workspace switcher sits in the sidebar, under the logo.

1. Click the workspace switcher.
2. Pick a workspace from the **Workspaces** list.

You can also press <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd> (on Windows/Linux <kbd>Ctrl</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd>) and choose **Switch workspace**.

## Create a workspace

1. Click the workspace switcher and choose **New workspace**.
2. Enter the **Product name**.
3. Under **App code folder**, click **Choose folder…** or paste the folder's full path. Any language works. DemoVexa only reads the folder; nothing in it is changed.
4. Click **Create and analyze the app**.

DemoVexa creates the workspace and starts Claude's analysis straight away.

> [!NOTE]
> The number of workspaces you can have depends on your plan. See [Plans and usage](/docs/account/plans-and-usage).

## Analyze the app with Claude

Analysis fills in the workspace from your code, so you don't have to type it all yourself.

1. Click the workspace switcher and choose **Workspace settings**.
2. Click **Analyze with Claude** (or **Analyze again** if it has run before).

Claude reads the app's code. It usually takes 1 to 3 minutes. Empty fields are filled in, and anything you typed stays as it is, so it's safe to analyze again after your app changes.

## Workspace settings

**Workspace settings** has a tab for each part of the workspace:

| Tab | What's there |
|---|---|
| General | Product name, description, video language, audience, website, app address, end-card button. See [App and docs](/docs/workspaces/app-and-docs). |
| App & docs | Code folder, docs folder, detected stack. See [App and docs](/docs/workspaces/app-and-docs). |
| Brand | Logos, favicons, colours, fonts. See [Brand and design](/docs/workspaces/brand-and-design). |
| Design | Design style, corners, shadows, motion, brand rules. See [Brand and design](/docs/workspaces/brand-and-design). |
| Modules | The parts of your product, in groups. See [Modules](/docs/workspaces/modules). |
| Connections | The workspace's own keys. See [Connections and checks](/docs/workspaces/connections-and-checks). |
| Checks | Live checks of the folder, git, docs and modules. See [Connections and checks](/docs/workspaces/connections-and-checks). |

When you change something, a bar appears with **Discard** and **Save changes**. Your edits aren't kept until you click **Save changes**.

## Delete a workspace

1. Open **Workspace settings** for the workspace.
2. In the **Danger zone**, click **Delete workspace**.

You can only delete a workspace that has no projects, so delete its projects first. To keep a project, export it before you delete it; you can import it into another workspace later. See [Export and import](/docs/more/export-import). Your first workspace has no Danger zone and can't be deleted.
