# Products and services

> Tell DemoVexa what kind of business you are and what you sell, so videos show your products, services and places instead of your website.

DemoVexa makes videos for any kind of business, not only software. A sneaker brand gets videos about its sneakers, a clinic about its treatments, a restaurant about its dishes and its place. For that, each workspace knows two things: **what kind of business it is** and **what it sells**.

This is rolling out gradually. If you don't see **About the business** in Workspace settings → General, it isn't switched on for your account yet.

## About the business

Open **Workspace settings → General → About the business**.

- **Kind of business**: Software / app, Consumer products, Services, Local business, Marketplace / platform, Education / non-profit or Other.
- **Sells** products, services or both; **buyers** are consumers, businesses or both; **where**: online, at physical places or both.
- **Category** in a few words, such as "sneaker brand", "dental clinic" or "Italian restaurant".

When you import your brand from the website or analyze the workspace, Claude fills these in from your site. Check them and press **This is right**, or change what's off and save. Once you've confirmed them, DemoVexa never changes them by itself.

A workspace with a code folder always counts as software: its videos show the app, recreated from its code.

## Products and services

Open **Workspace settings → Products & services** (or <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd> → **Workspace: Products & services**).

- **Detect from the website** reads your site's shop, product, service, menu, about and reviews pages and lists what you sell: name, a one-line pitch, benefits, the price as shown, how a service works step by step, and who it's for. It links each item to its photos in [Assets](/docs/workspaces/assets), and imports a product's photo from its page when Assets has none.
- **Add** an item yourself, or edit one: type, name, pitch, benefits, price, steps, who it's for, its page, and its photos (the first one is the main photo).
- **Star** up to five items to feature them: videos and video ideas start with these.
- **Proof**: real reviews, ratings, awards, press and numbers that videos can quote. Only real ones, word for word, with where they're from. DemoVexa never invents them.
- **Places**: shops, branches or venues with their address and opening hours, for videos that end with where to find you.

What you've edited by hand is kept: detecting again only adds photos to items that have none.

## How it changes your videos

For a business that isn't software, videos show what you offer, built from your own photos with your brand's colours and fonts:

- products as hero shots with their benefits and price,
- services as how-it-works steps, from booking to the result,
- real reviews and ratings as quote cards and counters,
- your places with their address and hours,
- and your brand story.

They don't show app screens, a browser or a cursor, and they don't give a tour of your website. The video types read the same way: **Brand intro**, **Product or service spotlight**, **Launch** and **Explainer**. In the scene plan, each scene names the photo it uses, and you can swap it for another one from Assets.

The more good photos your featured items have, the better the videos: [Checks](/docs/workspaces/connections-and-checks) tells you when a featured item has none.
