What it does in your video workflow
OpenAI Codex can be connected as an AI worker to assist with assigned project tasks.
This is an AI connection for drafting or building project work. Choose a primary provider in settings; it coordinates the task and reviews assistant results. Connection availability and billing belong to the provider account.
Connect and verify it
Use AI provider during onboarding, App settings → AI providers, or Workspace settings → AI providers. Follow Connect Assistants → Primary AI Provider → Status, finish the provider's sign-in or key setup, then run its connection test. A workspace key takes precedence over the app key.
Provider access, model and voice availability, usage limits and charges can change. Check the provider's current account terms and test the connection before relying on it for a delivery date.
Example setup and review
A team can set Codex as primary, give it a bounded task such as reviewing a brief, and check the returned work in the project. The scene build and final render still need human review.
Sign in with Codex CLI or configure an OpenAI API key, then run the connection test. Availability, model access and usage billing follow your OpenAI account and current plan.
Not affiliated
OpenAI Codex is a third-party service. DemoVexa is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI Codex. Provider names are used only to describe compatibility. Check the provider's own documentation for its current terms, account requirements, availability, and pricing.
Frequently asked questions
What does Codex do in DemoVexa?
Codex can be selected as the primary AI or configured as an assistant. The primary coordinates project work; an assistant receives assigned tasks and its result is reviewed. Rendering still runs on your computer.
Can Codex replace the video renderer?
No. Codex can assist with project tasks, but Remotion renders the animation on your computer. Connecting another AI provider does not make the renderer run faster.
