AI product demo video from code

From Code to Demo. Automatically.

DemoVexa reads your software's code and turns it into a narrated product demo video. It writes the script, voices it and animates your real UI. No screen recording and no editing.

14 days free. No card required.

How it works

  1. 1

    Point DemoVexa at your code.

Create a workspace on the code folder on your computer. Any language or framework. Add docs if you have them. Working from a GitHub repo? Clone it first; DemoVexa reads local folders, not repo URLs.

  2. 2

Describe the video in one line.

Claude drafts the brief and writes a scene-by-scene script from your code. ElevenLabs voices it, or you can record the voice yourself or go captions-only.

  3. 3

    Get the finished video.

Claude rebuilds your screens as React components and animates them with Remotion, with your brand kit applied. You get 1080p MP4s in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, each laid out for its frame rather than cropped.

See it work

This video shows how DemoVexa turns an app's code into a demo video.

Why from code, not from a screen recording

  • No recording, no retakes.

Your screens are rebuilt from the code, so there is nothing to record and no editing timeline.

  • Clean sample data.

The video shows sample data, not your real customers' data.

  • Rebuild when the product changes.

Pull the latest code and rebuild in minutes. Change anything by asking in plain words, for example “slow down scene 3, end on pricing”.

  • 85 languages.

Scripts are written natively in each language, not translated word for word.

  • Ready to publish.

Each video comes with covers and ready-to-post copy for LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube and your blog, plus captions as SRT and VTT files.

Your code stays on your computer

DemoVexa is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, with a CLI too. The code folder is never uploaded to DemoVexa. The relevant parts of your code and docs go to Claude through your own Anthropic account, and the script text goes to ElevenLabs through your own key if you use an ElevenLabs voice. Your API keys stay in your operating system's keychain.

Try it on your own product

Make your first video from your own code today. The trial runs 14 days with no card and includes 3 videos, 15 renders and 1 workspace. After that, plans start at $29 a month. You also need Claude (a Claude Pro or Max plan, or an Anthropic API key), billed by Anthropic. DemoVexa adds no mark-up. See full pricing

FAQ

Can AI make a product demo video from code?

Yes. DemoVexa reads your code and docs, writes the script, voices it and rebuilds your screens as animated React components. The result is a narrated MP4 with no screen recording.

Do I need to record my screen or edit video?

No. You describe the video in one line, review the script and listen to the voice. Claude writes the animation code. To change something, you ask in plain words.

Does DemoVexa upload my source code?

Your code folder is never uploaded to DemoVexa. The relevant parts of your code and docs go to Claude through your own Anthropic account. If you use an ElevenLabs voice, the script text goes to ElevenLabs through your own key.

Can I use a GitHub repo?

Yes, once it is on your computer. Clone the repo and point a DemoVexa workspace at the folder. DemoVexa does not take a GitHub URL or connect to GitHub.

What if I don't have access to the code?

You can create a workspace from your product's website and uploaded documents. Screens are recreated less exactly than when DemoVexa can read the code.

What formats do I get?

1080p MP4s in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, each with its own layout. Covers, ready-to-post copy, a blog post with SEO fields and SRT and VTT captions come with them.

How much does it cost?

There is a free 14-day trial with no card. Then Solo is $29 a month, Team $79 and Agency $199, in USD excluding tax. Claude is required and billed by Anthropic. ElevenLabs is optional.

How is DemoVexa different from other demo video tools?

DemoVexa builds the video from your code instead of a screen recording, runs on your computer and uses your own Claude and ElevenLabs keys. Our compare pages set it next to PushPlay and RepoClip, claim by claim.
