Billing questions
What counts as a video?
Each new video project counts once, however many times you edit it. Renders have their own monthly allowance, and each format you render counts as one. Allowances reset every month from the day your plan started.
Why do I need my own Anthropic and ElevenLabs accounts?
So you pay the real cost of the AI with no mark-up, keep control of your data and limits, and never run out of our credits. Costs depend on the video's length and how many revisions you ask for; the Usage page in the app shows what each project used.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your projects and renders stay on your computer. Pick a plan to keep building new videos; nothing is charged automatically.
Can I switch plans or billing period?
Yes. Online checkout is coming soon; until then, choose the plan under Plan & billing in your account and we'll switch it the same day, with an invoice.
Does my code leave my computer?
DemoVexa runs on your computer and never uploads your code, voiceovers or renders to DemoVexa servers. To write and build a video, the relevant parts of your code and docs go to Claude through your own Anthropic account, and the script text goes to ElevenLabs through your own key. Your keys are stored in your operating system's keychain.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Plans are month to month or yearly; email support@demovexa.com to cancel. Your projects stay on your computer either way, and you can export any of them as a .demovexa file.
