Modules
Organise your product into modules and groups so Claude suggests better ideas and builds more accurate videos.
Modules are the parts of your product, such as its main features or screens, arranged in groups. DemoVexa uses them to suggest video ideas and to guide Claude when it builds a video.
You'll find them in Workspace settings → Modules.
#Detect modules with Claude
- Open Workspace settings and click the Modules tab.
- Click Detect with Claude.
Claude reads your app and proposes modules, arranged in groups. To run it again after your app changes, click Detect again. If you've edited the modules yourself, DemoVexa asks before it replaces anything.
#Edit modules and groups
Each group has a name you can edit, and each module appears as a chip inside its group.
#Groups
- Rename a group: click its name and type a new one.
- Reorder or delete: open the group's ⋯ menu and choose Move up, Move down or Delete group.
- Add a group: click Add group.
#Modules
- Add a module: click + Add in a group.
- Change a module: use the module chip's menu: Rename, Move to (another group) or Remove.
Once you've changed the modules, the tab shows "Edited by you · kept when the app is analyzed again". Your edits aren't overwritten when you analyze the app again.
Click Save changes when you're done.
#How modules are used
| Where | How |
|---|---|
| Ideas | The Ideas page lists your modules and groups, so you can ask for ideas about one module or across all of them. See Ideas. |
| Building a video | Modules are passed to Claude when it builds, so it knows how your product is organised. See Animate. |
| How-to guides | A module shows "Guide: …" when one of your how-to guides matches it. |
Tip
Use the same names for modules as your app's menus and your how-to guides, so video ideas use words your users recognise.
#Good modules
- One module per feature people would recognise, not per code folder.
- Group them the way your app's navigation does, so ideas and videos follow the product's own structure.
- Remove modules you'll never make videos about, such as internal admin screens. Fewer, clearer modules give better ideas.
The Checks tab also includes a Modules check. See Connections and checks.
