Keyboard shortcuts
The keyboard shortcuts in DemoVexa and how to use the command palette to get anywhere fast.
DemoVexa has a few keyboard shortcuts and a command palette that reaches almost everything in the app.
#Shortcuts
On a Mac, use ⌘. On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl.
| Shortcut | What it does |
|---|---|
| ⌘ K | Open the command palette |
| ⌘ N | New project |
| ⌘ , | Open Settings |
| ⌘ 1 | Go to Projects |
| ⌘ 2 | Go to Ideas |
| ⌘ 3 | Go to Usage |
| ⌘ B | Show or hide the sidebar |
Note
DemoVexa runs in your browser, and some browsers keep ⌘ N for a new window. If it opens a browser window instead, click New project in the sidebar or use the command palette.
#Command palette
Press ⌘ K (on Windows/Linux Ctrl K), or click Commands in the sidebar. Start typing to filter, then press Enter to run the highlighted item.
The palette has:
| Group | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Actions | New project, Import a project (.demovexa), New workspace, switch between light and dark, show or hide the sidebar |
| Go to | The main pages of the app |
| Projects | Every project in the workspace, to open it directly |
| Switch workspace | Every workspace |
| Settings tabs | Every tab of Settings and Workspace settings |
Tip
The palette is the quickest way to reach a settings tab. Type its name, such as "ElevenLabs" or "Brand", and press Enter.
